tweeter replacement

Hi

I was restoring TRK-8180 and I ripped one tweeter.
I have spare tweeters from a parted TRK-8080 but they are 2.5W, the TRK-8180 has 3W, but both are 8ohm.
Now my dilemma is, should I :

1. replace the ripped tweeter of TRK-8180 with the TRK-8080 tweeter and leave the other one as is, or
2. replace both TRK-8180 tweeters with TRK-8080 tweeters, or
3. replace both TRK-8180 tweeters with tweeters available on ebay of same parameters 3W/8ohm (they have standard 6.5cm mounting), though the ebay tweeters are non-branded, I'm not sure of their quality, but the original Hitachi tweeters do not look very advanced either so don't know.

Any thoughts guys?

I would say go ahead and use the 8080 tweeters. I don't think you will miss much with the half-watt difference.

Be more careful next time.
