True Friend!!!

Hey all! my niece just bought her first car-1998 Toyota Camry with 238K and needs mirrors, lights, interior, wheels, struts, etc. for $200 Cash

Well I called up my friend(the one who sold the Monte to me forr $750 cash :thumbsup: ) I called him up because he races in Auto Cross (my monte took him to a Championship several times) Anyhow he has spare wheels and tires left over from my monte, and his new honda. I needed a set of wheels for the Toyota because the current ones are bent literally out of shape. So he told me he'd take a looksie Loo and call me. WELL when I got home, he was there and had one wheel from the montes racing days. I thought he was going to ask for several hundred bucks, (I remember him buying them new for $1,200) Still has the reciept! and he unloaded them, and said $100 whenever I have it! I thought he was joking as usual but he said " really" and unloaded them and said, just pay it 'whenever man'. $100 for a $1200 set of Mogatis :'-( I feel so guilty! That is a true friend! I went with the intention of him finding some old steelies forr the toyota, but he went above and beyond! I think my niece needs to start looking for a set because these are staying with me :thumbsup:

He kept me on my toes a bit at first-He wanted to make me an offer-I kept offering $500-$600-a PS3 New In box! He kept saing "I don't think so" But a while later, he said $100 when ever you want-then He just handed them to me and bid me farewell :thumbsup: I offered him a new set of 12"s MIB just as a 'down payment for the $100 but he said "just whenever pal!" :smooch:

Nice score, just don't run those tires as all seasons, or you might regret it in the rain.

:nonono: I drive like an old lady :thumbsup: The car has blown head gaskets a MILLION times :thumbsdown: When it was a auto cross car :hmmm: Don't know if that had anything to do with it :-)
