Received this from a very good Ebay seller in almost flawless condition and fully working.
The passives were reformed and box fully serviced.

Just need to get rid of the massive packing box it came in!

No sir! I paid a lot less than that one in China is selling for but still respectable money all the same.
I can see you really digging this style of box though CPL, not many from that era with a decent 'light show' as stock.
If they've not been re foamed for 30 years they can sound a little sloppy so that is something to consider first off.

I've heard mixed reviews about the sound but still, some amazing features you don't see on other blasters. Is it correct that you can record on both decks?

Yes it looks like you can record on both decks.
The sound is good on my one, better than I was expecting but is has been serviced and the passives refoamed.
I've heard they can sound sloppy sometimes when they get old. Reminds me of Aiwa CS-880s...

This has to be one of the best looking boxes ever.
In fact (and im sure im not first to say) no other company made as many great looking boxes as Toshiba.

I agree, the fit and finish of this Toshiba is first class. It's a pity Toshiba used such small drivers though. The passives look huge compared. Nice, big 8 inch drivers in a bass reflex box would have made it a perfect box IMHO!

That brings up a question in my mind...did Tosh ever have a 1 piece with 8" woofs?
