Toshiba RT-S953 opinions?

The Toshiba RT-S953 looks pretty interesting. I wonder if it would be worth hunting one down - How is the sound on these? Is the "stereo wide"-setting any good?

There was a project one for sale in Italy and I think it went for more than 400€ - yikes! But still, perhaps it would be worth keeping an eye out for one, if they sound good...

Very rare model, especially over here but it probably sounds pretty good, although the frequency response isn't much better than a stereo microcassette

I have one that my grandmother left me that works perfectly. The foam around the bottom speakers need to be replaced which i hear is pretty common. Also has a few dings and scratches, but nothing broken. Looking to sell if anybody is interested
