I was thinking 8 tracks, cassettes, and Reel to Reel kind went hand in hand even though consumer use of 8-tracks and Reel to Reel goes back a little further. :hmmm:

8 tracks rule!!
The vinyl is the great great grandfather, then 8track
was the great grandfather, then cassette was the grand father
then the cd was the father and the I-pod is the
child!
The reel-to -reel is the cousin the the 8-track!
Love those 8-track boomers!! I have a Lloyd's!! :-D :-D  :surf:

I do have to say that is one funny cartoon! :-)
Cool!
The 8-track was going at the same time as
the cassette.
8's were more popular though, first came out in
1965'!
I have an early 1966' model In my Mercury Park Lane!
And yes it works perfect!

The reel to reel now that's the weird one!
Also some very rare reel to reel boomboxes! :-O
Yes I've seen them on Mission Impossible!

The cassette started between 65'-70'
I have 1970' 3M cassettes!!
Now for those reel to reel boomboxes!!?? :hmmm:
