so i am out with the better half and her family today.
mom and sister. i mean i am really lucky somehow my better half managed to get only the good qualities of her mother and her sister got all the bad ones.
anyways. we went for lunch great new sushi place.
and for two people who claim to be on diets i nearly fell of my chair when i heard what they were ordering.
i mean they ordered enough food between the two of them to feed ten people. i am not kidding.
the best part is how they try to pass it off on the other people there. i mean i got my lunch i am not eating two.
seriously tho no one was injured but why do people do this.
i also get totally peeved with this.
we are going to a sushi place or whatever. i mean once you know where you are going how can you not have a idea of what to get when you get there. i mean its not like its there first time eating japanese.
so they sit already hungry reading every single item on the menu. i mean wouldnt you have some idea of what you were having the half hour before you get there.
i dont get the mentality of how they shop either. i mean going to a thrift store with them is pure hell.
watching them literally handle every item in the huge thrift stores one by one not really knowing what they are looking for but needing to look.
its just strange.
listening to there laments in the escalade about how they have no money and they are broke.
i just dont get it.
dont get me wrong i would basically bail on the entire situation but the better half would be stuck with them and well she is not a fan of there wacked out shopping and eating habbits either.
its kind of like being out with eccentric people without the interesting conversation.
i mean it is just crazy when they come to visit.

This is more common than you think bill, I hear whining like this from people in public all the time. This country is full of greedy whining people so much so I think it's really screwing us up.

The diet part is hillarious though, I've known some extremely large people who say they are on a diet but not losing weight and they don't know why. Then I go have a meal with them and they eat enough for 3 people, when I point it out they are in complete denial.

When I worked at Round Table Pizza back in the days in Cali, there was this really LARGE lady that ordered the same thing every friday she came in. She had (herself only) a LARGE Montague's All-Meat Marvel with double-anchovies and a Litre of Red Wine!!! Btw, the addition of double or even single anchovies really made the whole place stink!!! Yuck!

Damn that pizza's makin' me hungry now, gotta go and make lunch!

damn been a while since i was in a round table. up here we have me n eds that is the same style. good pizza no doubt.
well the sister has gone but the mother in law remains . she is much easier to take than the other hamster brained witch.
i mean the worst thing i can say about my better half is her sister sucks and she has often died the underwear pink.
sometimes i do confess to refering to her as the underwear witch but thats really the only bad thing i can say about her.

Well, Bill, I don't get the food part, but I sorta get the thrift store part. I have often wandered into Goodwill not knowing exactly what I was looking for. Sometimes you find good stuff that way!
