Well last night we had a Cat 1 cross the coast, Anthony is now dumping water all over the northern part of the state, but have a look at the 2000 mile wide storm Cat 4 expected here Thursday!

and getting worse, Cat 3 now and intensifying.

Looks like we'll be spared the worst here in Brisbane, but goddam that's a big storm, "several thousand nautical miles across". The eye is 100 miles across . We are 2 days out and the winds are at 185 mph.
The media is calling it a once in a lifetime event.
