I watched this a while back Fatdog. I always laugh at the way the dialog is on these older videos but they are very interesting and informative as well. The lovely transistor kicked electronics off into new uncharted territory. And we haven't looked back

I'm also vintage 1953 and seem to recollect my early years teachers talking just like the chap in the video.

Sigh.... We once used to invent and create things in this country. We are third world now since we sold off or lost patents to other countries like China. I get so depressed thinking about it. Today it seems as if the youth isn't interested in problem solving. its more of the Me too movements...
