I present to you, what quite possibly could be the rarest Lasonic of all time!
The Lasonic TRK-200 Karaoke machine!

YES, that is an 8-track player!
So now your saying, "But Chris, this is a forum for boomboxes and boomboxes have handles and take batteries!
"
But this does have a handle and take batteries!

The date code in the battery compartment says 1987 and since it's all in Chinese (???) I would say, overseas (Taiwan?) only.
The speakers fit into the cabinet for transport and are secured in with two screws.

And needless to say, she is a wreck
:'-( BUT...She will get the full spa treatment!

There seems to be no information on this system anywhere on the net, so we're going to have to do a full write up and document it all.
@Superduper, would this be a candidate for a write up on www.wikiboombox.com?
Here's the hard part....anyone ever seen keys like these? Someone rigged up a play button, but I would like to find the right one. If anyone has any information, please PM me. I also need a power button cap.

I love that ocean of knobs! I could rebuild 5 931's with all those!

I haven't tested it on batteries, BUT THIS THING POUNDS!!!!!
So far, gsbadbmr is the only one who has ever seen one, as he used to have one and showed me pictures, but his didn't have these bottom stickers. If anyone has pictures of one of these with the stickers, please post them, I would love to recreate them.

This thing must have 10 gallons of beer on it
and another 5 pounds of dead bugs in it
I can't wait to find out what speakers are in it!
