The Next JVC Kaboom

Do you guys think that JVC will change the current system to more of the old with replacement of the woofers and perhaps by giving it tweeters. I know they used to be manufactured in malaysia but now they are madein China so i don't really know if that is realistic. What are someof your thoughts

I don't know... a part of me thinks that JVC is going to ditch the whole Kaboom line sooner than later.

Hm, I don't think they'll ditch it as they have been very popular and successful with boomboxes since.. uh since boomboxes exist. I don't see why they should stop making 'em. Well the iPod thingy was a step in the wrong direction but hopefully they'll get it right again and stop making cheap and mediocre boxes. Maybe not as there are many competitors in the higher price range now so they might continue to offer cheaper but not totally crap boxes... time will tell.

I think the kaboom has had its day. I see them being blown out all over here. I came across one for 85 bucks at a shoppers drug mart up the road and passed on it. I already have two of the earlier ones here. My prediction is this. Jvc will stop making loud blasters or....... Pull a page from tdk and lasonics book and give the people a square big box again.

I agree Bill . IMHO I believe JVC will concentrate on smaller iPOD/ iTOUCH compatible equipment like iHOME docks and clock/charger combos. the Kaboom phase seems to have run it's commecial course.
