This is my latest box picked up on a quick offer to the seller. I was surprised he accepted as the offer was low, quick trip to Melbourne (around 600km return) and it was all mine. Made another score (Yamaha hi-fi gear) on ebay that the seller had a crazy low BIN on but more on that soon.

Can anybody help me with the missing Bass & mixing knob? Hate it when the split posts are compressed together on pots, might have to use some Teflon tape to make it that tiny bit bigger so the knob stays on. If anybody has a spare RCA cap/cover that would be nice as well, has two out of the three on it.

Rare box to find in Au, has some minor cosmetic issues that should largely clean up and the deck is currently dead :thumbsdown: It had very dirty pots (scratchy volume) that after a quick spray of CC made the box come to life.

Fingers crossed but I don't hold much hope of finding the originals and might have to settle on some substitutes

Props Matt!! This box is a personal favourite of mine.
My advice: Find those knobs and don't let her go! :)

Cpl, the box in d8614ss avatar is an emerson, could have come out under different names though.

This is so close to being my favourite box. I only say close to because I fell in love with so many boxes since then. But it was my first favourite. I think the jap one is pretty sexy with a black tuner window. But it has a silkscreened logo rather than a cast badge.
Beautiful score. Just beautiful.
I'm still looking for a parts one of these. A real scrapper which still sounds ok.

Congrats on a Very nice Sanyo!!!!
Warning , This model is pretty hard to work on though because all of the wiring is soldered in from one board to the other.
Very hard to get at the deck.

Hey matt, I have a Sanyo 920 that's not in the best shape. Rotten speakers (which I've painted to make them look good), deck needs belts, amp needs recap.

You could use two to make one, so let me know if you have anything to swap +/- cash.
