Hey Guys, Here is the next radio in The Big Japanese Boombox Haul.

This radio is something I bought solely on the fact that so many people own them and speak highly of them and after so many referrals, I had to buy one!

Your totally right Melly, this thing is a BEAST for it's size! Many have said they are battery miser's, this is a good thing for me, because I run rechargeable battiers that aren't the most powerful, so that will work in my favor

   :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

NOPE, no hints yet! I have a plan though. I have to look into some of the materials that I will need and since she will be coming apart completely and since she is really warn AND since these look SOOOO great in custom colors....I just have too!

What can I say, everyone on this site has done such amazing things with their M70's I'm just totally inspired

I had this radio out last night, took it to band rehearsal. We had a bit of a party over there, about 10 people over. After the band did our thing we cracked some beers and cranked up some tunes. I had an app on my cell phone streaming HARD ROCK RADIO LIVE through the M70 and it sounded SWEET. Keeping in mind our studio is a stage in a warehouse, a very large room. I turned up the bass, pulled the treble back a bit and turned it up and she let loose with No distortion and sounded super clean! I was very impressed with the full rich warm sound.

For me, it's not a party until the music is just loud enough to make people have to speak over it a little. People seem to come alive a little more when they need to yell over the music just a bit....THEN IT'S A PARTY. The M70 does that with style and grace!

BTW, does anyone have a good picture of the top/controls? Mine is in Japanese and I can't read them

...the left knob is for mic mixing with the cassette, the middle knob is for radio mixing with the cassette...the middle knob pulls out to turn radio mixing on and push it back in t turn it off, the third knob is for the cassette playback speed...turn left to slow it down, it locks in the middle for normal, and turn it to the right to speed it up.
