Telefunken Hifi Studio 1/ Studio 1M - what's the difference?

There's a Telefunken Hifi Studio on ebay and the seller says it's a 1 and not a 1M but he doesn't know the difference. That's why I'm asking you guys I think I heard the 1M goes up to 108MHz and the 1 doesn't, is that right?

Yep. I think the Studio 1 goes up to 104 MHz for FM, but the Studio 1M goes all the way to 108 MHz.

WRONG Bobby !!!!!!!!!!
I have a studio 1 and it goes up to 108 fm.
The main difference is the studio1m has metal tape capability this is what the "M" stands for.

Yes!
You could get the Studio 1 in aluminum front with a black body or Metallic brown.
I think the Studio 1M only came in the aluminum/black combo.
