Those are cool! What do those go for these days?Van Presence said:That version of ma-xg are meant to be better than the first version, but the metal frame looks cooler on first.20190504_132520.jpg![]()
Mine have never been played in a boombox. Ha
Tape prices are mehh. Most on Ebay are over priced and don't usually sell unless started low/no reserve. I got my ma-xg for $25 and a sealed MA-R and opened 1 for $100. That's New Zealand $. Expensive but I wanted them and good tapes are hard to find here.Bloodhound said:Those are cool! My son and I are very confused about tapes. We went to a thrift store and bought a box with 200 or so pre-recorded tapes, mostly 80's metal. We've played several. Some sound fantastic and others sound like shite. Had to re glue a few felt tabs that were loose or falling off and that helped tremendously of course. Also had 2 CrO2 tapes which sound ok on the normal deck setting and crappy when set on CrO2... Also have a few with the XDR logo which sound like they were recorded yesterday and are amazing. We're confused![]()
