I could not find anywhere in the specs on the link provided by Bill that suggests a storage limitation.
It did although provide a list of compatable iOS devices.
I use and have been using my 120gb iPod classic with no issues to date. And I am running the current firmware on my unit.

Oh btw warrantee is actually spelled warranty.
There!, I said it

Yeah I noticed that after a while of posting and not sure why my spell check changed it :hmmm: But I was to ticked off to change so I left it alone figuring it would get more readers

I'm searching for where I read about no more than 32gig should be used. I will post when I find it. I went through hours and hours of reading trying to figure out a fix ;-)

Ok so it will support up to 32 gb thumb drive or other storage media.
That doesn't have anything to do with iPod iPhone storage capacity.
Ios devices have thier own operating system that allows you to browse the available files on the device. The 3 speaker also has an operating system that allows you browse up to 32 gb storage drives. That makes more sense!

But according to their tech department that is why they listed the IPhones /iPods that it supports (as stated in previous statement).

Made for iPod touch (2nd generations), iPod classic, iPod nano (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation), iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. The others are not supported and they asked me which I was using and I lied and told them the IPhone 3GS. They said if I told them anything but the ones listed it would void my warranty. All I can say Frank is be catious with what you use because I have read of many people who had the USB issue ;-)
