For the longest time I have wanted beer on tap in the garage fridge. Not sure why but it just seemed like a nice thing to share with friends. I don't drink much beer but with a birthday party this weekend we planned on getting a 1/2 barrel.

Sure I could roll out the EGPLNT 2 beer trailer but the time has come to have a drink directly from the fridge.

Scored my 2nd tap setup (1st setup is in the trailer) on craigslist for free with a C02 tank and a sweet drip tray that mounts to the tap shaft.

Started with flipping the door hinges which I have been wanting to do for awhile now because it swings the wrong direction with the way we have the fridge setup next to my work bench.

Lined up my drip tray and position of the tap shaft. Drilled the hole through the door and mounted it up. The C02 tank will be in the fridge with the 1/2 barrel so I don't have to have another hole in the fridge to pass the air line through.

Waiting for my beer to show up and then it will be done. I might switch to a ROOT BEER after the regular beer is gone, or next in line would be a 1/4 barrel of Spotted Cow .

Anyone else running beer on tap at home?

Barrel...? Is that like a Pony Keg? :hmmm: or those things that look like barrels a little bit taller than a football?
