Found this one on local auction site. No info on the internet. Not even a pic.

Anyone with better pic or any info, at least dimensions, music power...?

All I know is that it is from 1986, Made in Hong Kong. It has original sticker on the left speaker.

I reckon that it is most likely sold under several brands, but no clue about the origin.

Wow. '86? I reckon closer to '92. The gold and black look wasn't prevalent at all in 86, but I'm only going off what I've seen.

It looks a bit like the Darth Vader boombox someone had a while back, that had two decks on top of each other with a similar triangle motif. I bet it's pretty cheaply made and sounds nothing special, but that's half the charm of these chintzy boxes.

Rock On.

Hey!
That looks very similar to my TEC 879 RR, except the colours and equalizer instead of dual tape decks. Well I got mine for 50 EUR from Germany, I would say that's about what it's worth. No mindblowing sound quality, weak bass at most but goes decently loud. Very light and plastic, but looks good and mine works fine. No line-in on mine, only cassettes and radio. Not that big, I think the woofers are 5, or 6 inch at most. A box I bring if I have to go somewhere dodgy or somewhere people might get drunk and break it  .
Hope that helped.

Peace

Thanks for the info.So it is quite big afterall? I couldn't tell the size of tape door.

It's definitely from 1986. The owher still has original manual.

I've enhanced another pic, showing manual where it says "Made exclusive for Stylandia under license no. 3218/85". 85 must be the year of the license.

So, it was made for Stylandia by some company.

Interesting that so many boxes that have 'Super Jumbo' on them, are rarely that (by comparison to others). Still, it's a cool looking box. I'd scoop it up for sure.

I think it's still on auction, it's a long lasting one. Last time I've checked the highest bid was 2 euros
