shiatttte -- SLOW goings --

the super varnish takes 24 hours to recoat -
and to make the wood waterproof -takes THREE coats :annoyed: |-) |-) |-)

and due to the wicked humidity down here --
the first 24 hours is nowheresville :'-(

need to be stone cold cool --to make this one not
get waterlogged -- and SINK

LOL! I think you are supposed to sit IN a kayak - not ON a kayak. You'll have a high center of gravity and be more prone to flipping sitting on that chair. That being said...

well anyway --since ocean safety is a concern --for all of us big league
ship builders --
i always chuck my new vessels in the pool --before the initial sea trail

and since its super illegal to go boating in our community pool --
i usually wait till dark --and when nobody is around -

but last nite- at dusk --this cool old lady ( about 55 ) was the only one there -
--and she is the ' never would tell ' type

well --after our testing -we are happy to report -

that both of hers float--
the ship floats--
and they all float together
