Hello. Now Im starting to collect em. Thats my catch for the first month...
Sanyo M9830K (need a lot of love)
Hitachi TRK 7720E (need new belts)
Sanyo 9880LU (need belts and ant)
Sharp GF515 (pwr button not switching off. perfect cond. amazing sound!)
Waiting arrival of a rare old Sencor

great start I would say problem with your sharp could be stuck in sleep mode on because belt on one deck broke worth checking into good luck

Thanks for the warm reception . Yea the 515 sounds amazing (im into djing normally and have some pro sound here but now im listening the old Sharp last few days.). I know they use the 80's another version - Sharp RD688AV in the States for mastering... Some dudes from Russia saying that's the best sounding boombox ever build. I dont know for sure, but yea this old warrior sound damn warm. Thanks for the tip Badboy. The belts are ok, but there is strange mechanic sound coming from tape 1 and need to pres "pause" to get rid of. Probably this causing "sleep mode"? Still not open it to see....

The Sencor just arrived... Model is S-4440. Can't find anything about it in internet . But the little bugger have WIDE . One speaker its not workin . But with just one boomin' its sounds prety sweet (fake tweeters). The Wide function making huge impact . No battery cover and aerial . But will give em a full service. Love it . Any info about this Sencor will be valued as six pack Corona . The tape and radio workin well.

I want to hear a 555 in person. It just looks so industrial compared to the 777s but has sort of the same look. WIerd

Buttons for the tapes on 515Z feels like rocks. Look like radioactive freak but now i love 515. A better build quality than 777... The problem about me - i use to have 777 in 80's sold it , use to have a lot of boomboxes (all new boombalsters from JVS) some Sony sports (still have one), 9595 (my personal Grail), some Hitachi's and so on. But never think about really collect em. Got into dj ing years ago and forgot for my puberty boombox love . Spend fortunes on pro level dj ing stuff.... But all sucks... All new sucks. Even my new Samsung plasma for 2+k bucks is a pile of s...t - 2 years and is gone now. My Mackie mixers and Pioneer players are average compare to midpriced boombox from the 80's.....And i just figured it out a month ago . I forgot the sound and feelin' of a tape and nice boombox boomin' Alvaville's Big in Japan...
So sorry about dudes. To You all keepers- thanks for the real sound living . But im here now. Lot to learn, lot to remember. But getting perfect advices, and some day hopefully, a good friends here. So thanks. Thanks for this forum.

Now im after my personal Grail 9595 and already bought a USSR Ghettoblaster Vega 335 . Cant wait to arrive.......

My personal Grail Sharp 9595H just arrived . Mint condition . Just got this strange USSR Vega 335 as well. The pictures are from the guys sellin em. (so exited to take a pics right now ). The russian warrior sonunds not bad at all actually and have 4 presets for the radio. Actually no idea why bought it . Curiosity i supose . But totally ok. Im happy with 9595. Should see me dancing stearing at leds . I think I can say - I'm a junior boombox collector now .
