You know...these are just stupid. First you have to have the glasses and then if you watch too lon, you risk a headache.

Heck I dont have enough time in my day to think about the fact that I live in a multi-dimensional world let alone sitting in front of a TV...

I actually think it's pretty cool - and I'm thinking of getting a 60 or 65 inch Sony for Christmas.
Here's why. If you don't want to watch 3D - you don't have to - it will play regular programming just the same. But if there's a cool cartoon, a movie or a game in 3D - why not? It would only enhance the viewing experience, in my opinion.
Also, 3D TV's shouldn't cost much more than the regular ones, because all tech is in the glasses. As far as I remember - they use a different technology now with active shutter glasses - not the glasses from the 50s. Overall, I personally can't wait too see it in person - at which point my opinion may or may not change
But so far I'm pro 3D :-D

I don't think people will be switching to 3D just yet - only the most expensive top of the line TVs are 3D enabled. And only single people like me can buy it safely - without being *accidentally* killed by their wives - so that they could pay for that TV with the life insurance money :-D
