Sony ICF-15 refurbishment

Hello, decided to do something to my tired looking Sony ICF-15 pocket radio. It looked quite scruffy when i got it and also quite dirty.
Today i decided to take it apart and clean it thoroughly. Also repainted a speaker grille. Made also some pictures Now it looks gorgeous to me

Thanks As i didn´t have blue paint in handy, i used black paint. It looks nice, i agree

Yes, it's much better in black, a separate grill as opposed to a grill moulded as part of the front case is also a bit of a rare bonus.

I also feel a little bit inspired by your work, I have a feeling I may get myself a little transistor radio before too long and see what I can do with it.

Definitely you should get one, when you live in UK then it´s easier also to get one from UK eBay as they are dirt cheap. I have quite many of those, will involve a picture also with a handful of them.



Also i would love to own one pretty transistor pocket radio like General Electric 7-2500, there are plenty of those for sale in US eBay but postage is just too much.
