Sony cfs-f40?

Just browsing. I see, there a no posts on this un-sung beaut. I`m gonna put my neck on the line here, but, i have said it, countless times, on another site (ahem). This IMHO, is the best sounding box i have heard. It must also rate as the heaviest one piec box. People, that come to visit, just can`t believe the weight of it. Royal got me mine, off yahoo japan, it was NIB. It all worked perfect, but, when i became ill, it was stood for 8 months, and, ff/rw stopped working, though, it still play`s.

You can pick these up on yahoo japan, for next to nothing. Be prepared, for hi-fi quality tape playback, plus, arms like arnold black & decker .

It surely can't be heavier than a JVC DC-7, the weight of that model is just mental.

Don`t know RA. The 7, is a 3-piece, with turntable. The F40, is a 1-piece radio cassette. Unfortunately, years of non-use, are taking their toll on the cassette playback. The cfs-f70, is also a gem.
