Sony cfd-510

Hello All,

I have a Sony cfd-510 cd /cassette boom box, I was trying to clean the laser so I took it
apart and when I did that a small piece from the circuit board fell out, when I re-assembled the
unit the volume was stuck on full blast and the volume control was no longer working.
Can anyone advise or help?

sounds like a complete strip down of the whole cd section and rebuild to me pal.this will maybe determine the true diagnostics of whats causing the problems.also seek out a service manual to help/guide you.good luck
