Song help: "Wham-Bam, it's time to jam"?

Does anyone know who does a song in which they say that line? I believe it's followed by a bunch of great synth drum lines/handclaps. I heard it in a KissFM mastermix a while back and have always wondered what it was.

You need to get the shazzam app for your smartphone ....................when you hear a song turn on the shazzam and it will find it for you.

Oh, wait. It's the 1988 Club Version on the Fresh label. The mix I heard must have had an original or were very good at splicing tape, because there was no sign of that late 80's club beat anywhere. That and the vocals were forward and clear. I'm trying to make a mix on open reel tape and I wanted to segway with that line, much like they did in the mix I heard. Oh well.
