It never ceases to amaze me not only how far we have come, but even how complex things were when that was filmed. We as a species are amazing. I had no idea IC's were invented in the 60's. I thought they were a product of the early 70's. Having said that, you can tell that when this was filmed, IC's were just starting to find a home. The machinery used even then seems so advanced. Thanks for the post!

Very interesting indeed. So much of their problem solving and creativity and hard work made reliable electronics possible. Heck even folks who designed the tube were very creative. I have always felt that man had reached the height of talent and creativity in this era. We now only follow in their footsteps

The groovy intro with the futuristic Sci-Fi effects had me on the edge of of my seat! There's no halting progress, look back 20yrs-30yrs prior to this film and see just how big'n'bulky audio stuff was.
