Hello, all friends of boomboxes.
Maybe someone can help me. I opened my Siemens Club 735 yesterday because I had to clean the power switch for it. When I put everything back together nicely, the button now works nicely, so does the tape, everything works, just completely voiceless. All lights, motor, diode reception..But it is completely voiceless.I have already tried the external power supply, but everything is exactly the same. Would anyone know anything useful to say about this?
Thanks.

Speakers reconnected properly?
Did you connect headphone, did this make sound?
Thanks for the reply ... I hooked up right away. No sound..The lighting is on, reception ..., but the LED light for vu meter is not lit and the small red light in the middle between the LED indicators is not lit. You have this model too. Does everything work for you?

I don't know much about electronics, but I think that it has different power supplies, that one part of the power supply for the amplifier somehow failed ...
Or the amplifier died ... Although I would have said earlier that there was a bad sik on some connectors .. I'm saying, if I knew that, I wouldn't need help from you guys ... He'll probably have to do a fair overhaul ...

Hi Pauly, Just follow the wires from the 230V transformator, to the print, there should be s small connector + & - connected on two pins.
Can you measure these contacts from the connector with a multimeter?
Often when you open a box, this wire can be pulled loose from the pins.
Check if there are any fuses, small glass round fuses with a small wire inside. Sometimes these fuses are burned, this wire will be broken when you look thrue the glass.fuse.jpgAlso you can try to compare your radio with the pictures on Radiorecorder Club 735 RM735 Radio Siemens; D S.& Halske / S (radiomuseum.org)

I looked at that first. The fuse works whole for me, I just don't know why there is a little metal ball on the wire inside ??

I have one small multimeter, but I don't know how to use it, unfortunately ...

the fuse i checked is good and there are three wires at the output of the transformer. No matter how I measure it, it always shows me 14.8 in. so i think that's ok. somewhere else something happened ....
THANX GUYS

In my opinion, there is a bad contact somewhere..It seems that someone smarter than me will have to look at it..I also see that access to the cassette player is very, very difficult ...
