Round-look speaker grills, but then when you open them up, you discover a weaksauce pizeo tweeter and a so-called "all-purpose" oval speaker.

That's bizarre, they must have received a great deal on a supply of oval speakers or they had a pile of them already and didn't know what to do with them.

VU meters that don't go up or down with the volume knob

I like meters that dance no matter how loud you've got it cranked. Some meters max out and don't dance anymore if you crank it up

The meters on an Aiwa TPR or a Panasonic RX are true VU meters that keep dancing no matter what the volume knob is set at

But the ones on a Rising 20/20 are fake, because they depend on the volume knob.

The TRC-920 so perfect with it's set up. VU's start to go up with the volume and when the volume is maxed, the lights are to, but they still are moving, just at full length!

Eh I usually listen at lower volume than most of you guys, so I want the meters to dance even at zero volume
