Sharp gf 9191 : poor sound

Hello guys.

I want to open my sharp because the sound is very poor, the treble very bad. I would like to change capacitors and resistors of the tweeters. Do you know the values ?

That will probably not fix your issues.

I believe 3.9R & 4.7uf.

Yes these boxes don't have the most crisp treble. Someone on Stereo2go had a fix but I forgot what he did.

Very few boombox tweeters are attenuated with resistors. This box is. This is either due to balancing of impedance (4-ohm tweets coupled with 8-ohm woofs) or to slightly blunt over bright tweets, or if the tweets are rated for less power this could be an attempt to reduce the current to the tweets.

In any event, simply removing the resistors alone probably will brighten up the tweeters, but caution should be exercised due to reasons mentioned above since I have no way of knowing the reason for the original design.
