Sharp GF-777 Tape Door Removal???

Quick question, How do you remove the tape doors to a 777?
do you just pull up and out from a pin? Or is there something I'm missing? I don't feel like busting it up.

If I recall correctly, squeeze the two flaps on the sides inwards and it'll release. There is a spring attached to the door that inserts into a hole in the front of the case so be careful that you don't scratch the front of the case.

Are you wanting to remove the entire door or just the plastic cover?
