I had a random fault occur when I was playing a tape the other day.... I was playing a tape in the 2nd cassette deck and at the same time it was playing I pressed play on the 1st deck. The power completely cut out....no radio function/tape, or anything... What I'd found is the internal fuse (see below) had blown.
The transformer is on the right of the bottom image, covered over. One thing I've noticed is that once the power completely went, the only sound I could hear was from what (I thought) was a rather noisy transformer.
Anyone know what's wrong?
