Just got myself a real mint sharp 9090x the telephone grill one it's as new no marks had to rebelt it do the normal job on it but still the autostop doesn't work not sure how it works!! only bit i didn't replace was the rubber tyre which engages on the small rubber tyre on the fly wheel (the one you have to replace on these sharps) would it be that as when i turn the fly wheel it doesn't turn that wheel very well could this be it!!! Took me hours to remove the bad little bit from that alloy housing it had turned to goo replaced it with some fuel pipe as i have done in the past so not sure it's that as my other 9090 works ok i even took them both apart to compare but just can't seem to see the problem it's bugging me as it's such a minter!! The speakers are sooooooooooo white under the speaker grills they are like new!! I bought it for a £5 from the original owner who got it from cypress in 1980 and he has never used the tape deck!!!!!! so it can't be much to fix!!!
