Hey, what luck. Just picked up a 3-5286A and this forum has the service manual, outstanding! In good shape, complete. Gonna replace the power supply caps, get some belts for the deck and do an FM alignment. I had been looking for a boombox that had external inputs so I can use my MP3 player on work sites. From what I have read, these are pretty good old radios. I mostly collect vintage Marantz gear but this should be fun to work on!
Tbone8, that’s exactly what I did and it works like a charm now. I hope it lasts another 37 years! If you ever run across a parts machine, I could use a battery door and some switch covers. Enjoy the manual
