Wow it looks amazing . Wish mine to be the same state 
. Is there a light on the vu originally? On my just the radio dial is lighten 
. Should i check there 
. My tape deck is makin some same problems - was with new belts, than started to chew the tapes and stopping some times, now is dead 
. Will give it to proper tech guy to look it.

Love the 920...mine is one of my favorite to listen to. It has one of the best sounding "wide" features of any radio. Also has a very nice sounding cassette deck...

No originaly there is one light on right side of radio dial. Mine was blown out and its 15 volts so I decided to wire 2- 7v bulbs in with one for the meters
