Well sold one of my prize processions today  My Firebird Formula :sadno: took about two weeks but had 20 watchers on eBay in less than 2 days of posting and guy drove over 275 miles one way to come and pick it up this morning. This is last pic I took before he drove it away. On the upside I do have my Bike back

I sold one of my cars a few years ago to a young guy...when he drove away with my car i was almost in tears  . I initially had regretted selling it, but quickly got over it. I had purchased a different car, that i prefer much more...then last summer i purchased some nice DEEP dish wheels NIB from the 1990's...and never think about my other old car...until i read threads like this

Suicycles in the summer RULE badboybill :-D

Sorry to hear you had to let it go!
I had a 1973' Formula 400 fast as hell and rare!!
It had a/c even.
But traded it on a 1 owner 1979' Trans Am that
I bought In 82' right after I graduated.

I so wish I wouldn't have got rid of that Formula!!
Just didn't know how rare stuff was back In
81'-82'!

The Trans-Am was wicked! Only 18,000 miles
and was black.
I had more girls around me back then!!!

Sorry,just reminiscing there!

I guess you made the decision that was best
For you & your family.
Cherish the photos and the memories! :-)

Well, that pic was from the seller of the wheels before i purchased them...NOT mine  . I don't have any eggs in my collection, never will...nor would i embarass myself with a pic like that  . Trust me if i were going to take my own pic, you can bet your life it will have a grail or 2...or maybe even a few hundred

It's the only pic i had of the wheels which is why i posted the one from the seller for reference

Hey Bill, I feel you pain bro, on Thursday I sold my Cadillac. I didn't need a four wheel drive any more since I have moved, so decided to sell it and buy my youngest daughter a car.

Oh well....NEXT!

Hey Bill I had an 89 Formula Just like yours!!!
Only difference was the lower portion was grey from the factory and had the WS6 suspension.
Fun car with the ttops as long as it wasnt raining
I sold that one after I got my 77 Trans Am for about $3500. Needless to say I got over the Formula
pretty quickly.
It is hard parting with them though so I know how you feel.
When I sold the T/A I was sad , and still miss it from time to time.
But it was for the best that I sold it
