i took this shot --a few days ago - on a rare . somewhat cool florida summer day-
i know it looks 'staged'
but NO --that was 'real life' for a few hours --while i was sorting out the 1000 ( THOUSAND ) !!!!
free tapes i scored a few weeks ago

was making 4 piles :

1. listen & save -- maybe
2. for goodwill
3. for sale to you lucky members :dunce: :-) ;-) :pimp: :dog:
4. for the trash ???

when it came to deciding --which ones were trash :sad:
i just could not do it :thumbsdown: :'-( :nonono:

was thinking --how could we as vintage collector types -
ever chuck a brand new SEALED anything ??? :huh:

there were hundreds of tapes by artists i never heard of -
and that had been discounted ( from the stickers) from $5.99 down to $.99
so -- nobody wanted them :sadno:

and thats why they were free $$

but. TRASH ???

what if some were a new singers very first tape-
and it never sold --cuz nobody ever bothered to play it :sad: :'-(

so the new artist got discouraged and BROKE and had to quit recording -

and then - as the final kick in the teeth -
i throw away their brand new tape --without ever hearing it :-O :thumbsdown:

could you guys do that ??????????? :hmmm:

does anybody know what i mean :-)

Include a dozen or two brand new sealed tapes FREE with your next eBay listing to prop up the price, maybe double, the sales price. Just don't disclose the titles.
