Or other critters. How many times have you gotten a box (shipped or otherwise) that contained "carpetbaggers" who figured out that stowing away might mean greener or (or for those that made it to my house) deader pastures?

25 - 30% of the boomboxes I've opened up had remnants of cockoroacheees. AND they stink. However, none of them were ever alive.

Well, Florida is known for a "different" kind of smuggling!

The Lasonic I got last month, came with roach trap in the battery compartment. I'm afraid of what I'll find when I open the box up to see what can be fixed.

Ha!, I found an Big, old, dried out roach (not the critter) in one of the screw holes of my Lasonic.
Probably was stashed there since the 80's!

I have only ever found one thing a spare on off switch inside an rxc 52 but during my travels abroad we owned a villa it was infested with roaches i mean hundreds of them/

When I got my M9994k from China there were a host of dead bugs that I have never seen before...hope there weren't any eggs in there cause I threw them away.

Hell no!
It was old and petrified man, granted it WAS a big one more than 75% of it was there. But it was nasty including years of grime, dust bunnies and what looked like spider parts. I always wanted to call the PO and see if there was a story behind it.

It probably went down like this; Moms busted in on him while he and his buddies were chiefing it up, rocking out to some Aerosmith on the Lasonic and he had to stash it quick! What better spot then the screw hole in the back of the SOB.
