hi I recently bought an 8190e from eBay on a whim
like most owners i had one in the early 80s
anyway i decided to strip it down and try to get it working armed with a new set of tape belts and a screwdriver kit but no knowledge
this is how it went
lot of photos but they may be of some use to others

only thing not working is the auto stop on the tape
any ideas
Mike

Auto stop can be tricky, try cleaning all belts and pulleys they maybe slipping or the clutch.
