Great post Chris 👍. I did this a few years back but it only works when post is broke off leaving some of post to screw into.

Yes, I have had to drill a small hole in the post, but if the post is totally busted of, your SOL

Yep and in those cases jb weld is best 😉

I haven't tried that, but next time, I will.

I know I posted a thread before years ago using jb weld. Just pics though and also posted about stripped posts using jb weld and drilling new hole.

jb weld is like good whiskey , it get better with age and always comes in handy lol.

that was a clever repair . rock on . oh that box looks like it has some guts , reminds me of my trident the way it has that removable chassis part.
