Can't believe he died two days after his latest release.

Thanks David for those tunes which were part of my 80's teenage years.

A great musician, innovator, and a major, if not THE pioneer of the rock video. Fortunate to have seen him (got tickets for B-day) during his Serious Moonlight tour in '83

Going way back with this one:

Yeah its a real shame.R.I.P. Mr Bowie, his music was pretty much on the radio and MTV all thru the 70s 80s and 90s.I liked most of his stuff but, mostly remember the songs Modern Love,China Girl and Blue Jean from my high school years. As well as the Fame remix in the early 90's.I'll have to get his new album. At least we have what 10 to 15 new songs from him and of course all his other albums. That's something........

I really cant remember a period of my life when Bowie's music has not been relevant in my family
His were some of the first songs I heard as a kid, and now my daughter listens to his albums.
How such a public figure kept his 18 month battle with cancer a secret is astonishing.

Rip David, your songs will always be important to my whole family.
