Alright , my first question in Tech Talk.
Here are my 777's problems. Need suggestions and solutions.

1. When I switch to "Radio" , sometimes the right speaker will be louder than the left one , but if i adjust the "function" button , then sound come out from the left . Although it can be fixed by adjust the function button , but its a bit annoying .

2.When I switch to "Line in" mode , and I connected my ipod by the RCA wire to the port , the music came out in low volume (with my ipod and 777 max volume), can't be as loud as the "Radio" mode . Sometimes I can hear the radio broadcasting through "Line in" mode, and opposite , I could hear the music came out from my ipod when I switched to "Radio" , whats the problem? :'-(

3. The last question . About the "Mixing" button, in "Line in" mode , when I switch to "radio echo" , sound from broadcast came out , if I turn it to off , it will become normal . :hmmm:

Pls feel free to give me suggestions , wanna fix my 777 ! Thanks. :afro:

1. is probably down to the sliders and controls needing a clean with contact spray. To do this you need to get inside and at the pots of the controllers/sliders.

2. sounds like an electronic problem probably caused by a blown part like a capacitor or resistor, others could elaborate on this more than myself.

3. not sure about this but it could be a cleaning issue again or an electronic part failure. not sure how this function is supposed to operate anyway.

I have a similar problem with a GF515, one side is a bit lower in volume than the other, would more than likely be a dust or dirt build up in the pots or slider pots, boomboxs seem notorious for collecting dust over the years, I use an electronic cleanerand lubricant spray can pack and it works a treat but you will need to get inside to give a proper clean, I have seen whole channels mute in amplifiers because of this, especially if the pot is old or has a worn track, if the signal is kicking in after fiddling with the Function button start in that area, apart from that it would more than likely be a faulty resistor or capacitor on the amplifier board, so check that board too if you are electronically experienced, good luck,
