I remember how deep and rich the bass was on my GrandMother's console system was. Big 12''s woofers, Vinyl, 8 track tapes. Memories :yes: I still have an old tube radio I brought back from Germany 22 yrs ago. It has the light on the front. Still in 220 mode. :cool:

for them to wake up and find a huge EMPTY space !!!!

we had a 3 story townhouse ( attached type ) on a main
steet in the city of boston ,mass -
they were on the second floor -
this giant grundig was on the first floor

there was always plenty of multi-lane traffic and buses and trains
going by --day or nite
so - we guess they parked out front --
jimmied the front door --
and quietly carried it out ??

but -- how could they even know this gem was there ??
nothing else was stolen !!!

my guess would be somebody whom you knew or had been in your house and seen it ,that had to be planned out it's like stealing an elephant .

awesome stereo though i bet you could build one hell of a doomer with that :lol: .

Well that does s-ck :thumbsdown: those were georgeous stereo's and awesome pieces of furnature in the dayd :thumbsup: my dad had one from 60's , I believe maybe Magnavox or something... Then in early 80's it was handed down to me and my uncle got me a new needle my very 1st album ( Devo ) and rest is history :drool: you should pick another one up Ira, they are reasonable, but heavy and large :-O

Dude you can partially use stereo for some bbx as long as you have protection under boxes :thumbsup: I thought about getting one but don't have a pick up Truck to get it :sad:
