Hello everybody,
I apologize in advance for my mistakes but I'm french, young (21 years old) and new here.
I've found an offer to buy a JVC M70 L in Lithuania.
I was wondering which precautions I must take before buying to not gave my money in any robber's hand.
Masters of boomboxes, don't you have some advices ?

PS: Sorry if my question had already been posted.

Only trade through well known auction sites where you can see a sellers feedback.
Don't pay by western union.
Use Payal (hey, it's been great for me!) as at least you will have some protection.
There used to be an escrow system on EBay that would hold the $$ in an I dependant account ( so the seller knows you have the $$) and only released it when you got the goods and ticked the box to release the funds.
I suppose you could also just give it a go if it's cheap enough and if you loose your dosh then chalk it up to experience.

Okay, thanks a lot !
My seller doesn't have any characteristics that you say, so I will try to pay by paypal or in two time, before and after having received my boombox.

Always ask questions through eBay about the condition so the seller has to state the expected conditon before money is paid. That way, if he sells junk, you can submit the email as proof of deciet. BAM!! You get your money back from PayPal. :breakdance:
