That's what I mean-Post your favorite pics that you have taken

Mine are wierd, I painted my s10 in 2008 after 2 1/2 years of saving and studying. I was 17 when I finished her :-) I like taking abstract photos so people can see what I see. A mean street machine that's beefy and tough :pirate: I also like the retro styling I emplaced upon her :-)

One of my rear tires spinning down the road, Heading out of my neighborhood to go hang out with my brother in law

I kinda like these action shots of my friend Ken and his girlfriend Shelby on his 2007 Kawasaki ZX14.
I took this freehand with a cheap $35.00 3.2 mp Canon camera from a pawn shop. I was cruising about 75 to 80 mph on the interstate. I thought they looks pretty good.

The only truly interesting pictures I ever took were back in May 2006 when I visited Tokyo for 19 days. Other than shots of my boxes, I haven't taken pictures of anything worthwhile since. I've got more pics of Tokyo, the Imperial Palace and whatnot, but unfortunately, they're all on my dead iBook. Next month, I'll finally get off my a$s and get all the info transferred from that hard drive...

None of these pictures are in chronological order... For instance, if there's a day shot, I might've went back days or weeks later to take another shot at night...

THE PLACES: TOKYO & NIKKO

TokyoMetropolitanGovernmentBuild-1.jpg

^ The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building from afar, which is a few minutes away from the hotel I stayed at.

TokyoMetropolitanGovernmentBuilding.jpg

^ From the courtyard.

TokyoMetropolitanGovernmentBuild-2.jpg

^ From the opposite side... I've also got pics from inside both of the building's observation floors/towers but like I said...

Ginza01.jpg

^ On a tour bus rolling thu Ginza.

TokyoTower-RoppongiHills.jpg

^ Tokyo Tower as seen from the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.

Shinjuku01.jpg

^ Shinjuku days.

THE PEOPLE: SHINJUKU, HARAJUKU & THE IMPERIAL PALACE

DSC00572.jpg

^ Shinjuku... The only shot I have (on my MacBook) from the inside of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Those school kids - and their teacher - were real cool.

ImperialPalace17.jpg

^ Outside the Imperial Palace... There was some kind of school festivities going on that day and a whole lotta kids out there from different schools in different uniforms... One group saw that I had a camera and went wild!

Harajuku5-14-2006-63.jpg

^ Harajuku... "Sweet Lolita" cosplay... Saturdays and Sundays, the young and hip gather at Harajuku... Lots of cosplayers there...

Harajuku5-14-2006-76.jpg

^ Harajuku... I forget what kind of cosplay that's called... :hmmm:

Harajuku5-14-2006-77.jpg

^ Harajuku... School girls.

Harajuku5-14-2006-50.jpg

^ Harajuku... Even the little kids get in on the action.

Harajuku5-14-2006-62.jpg

^ Harajuku.

Harajuku5-14-2006-72.jpg

^ Harajuku... This is a cat from Australia... He'd stand there perfectly still like a statue for minutes on end...

Harajuku5-14-2006-70.jpg

^ Harajuku... He's also a very funny dude! :-D

Harajuku5-14-2006-38.jpg

^ Harajuku... I love the style of Japanese traditional dress... They've all got their yukata (summer kimono) on...

ONE FOR THE ROAD: SHINJUKU

MtFuji.jpg

^ This shot was taken on one of my last days there... I stayed on the 22nd floor of the Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku. When I got to my room, the bag handler told me that on a good day, I could see Mt. Fuji from my hotel room widow... Almost the entire time I was there, the skies were gray and it was either raining or close to raining. Every time I looked down there, I saw nothing but clouds... I paid for a tour to go to Mt. Fuji (way before I even left the U.S.) on my last week there and on that day, it rained real hard. I stayed in my hotel room that day. Besides, I was told by a lady I met on one of my other tours that if I went there on a cloudy day, I wouldn't see the volcano at all... Well, the day after the rain, I looked outside and started to see the clouds slowly disappearing and there it was, Mt. Fuji! :w00t: If it would've remained cloudy down there the entire time I was in Japan, I would've thought that bag handler was full of sh*t - to this day!

Thanks, Boomer! Glad you like 'em! :-)

BRING 'EM ON!!! :w00t: I LOVE Japan, so seeing somebody else's pictures of the place might give me ideas of what to take pics of the next time I go there! Like that phone, for instance... I wanted to call home from Narita Airport but was too scared to mess with it.... :dunce:

That picture of Tower Records... Is that the one in Shibuya? :hmmm: I bought some CD's from there... I also recognize a few of those artists - especially Ayuse Kozue - I own some of her music.

Those are great pictures! Thanks for posting!

i dont really care if people use my images for stuff so just let me know ahead of time in case its something someone has already bought the rights too.

It seems Bill and I share a few common interests in cars, airplanes, and cemetery monuments. :w00t:

Also this one I took at Bobby's house...The one that started it in the south for meets...

Didn't matter that it was only Bobby and I, for as it is written..."Where Two or More Gather In The Name of Loud Music Via Boomboxes..." it shall be called.."A Tour", in this case..."Mid-South 2008"!

Needless to say Bobby and I have strong wives as Paula is holding the very heavy Sanyo C-9 and my wife Tunya the very heavy JVC PC-55.   You now know why we're well behaved.
