we dont see to meany of these in this part of the world .i was very lucky to pick this baby up. it also came with a set of 4ch head phones and to original service manuals which i don't need at this stage because she working 100% so now i can run my 4 cs-99 speakers the way they should :thumbsup:

In the UK, and then only down south in that London, quadrophonic radio broadcasts were trialled in the 1970s but didn't last as the equipment was expensive and the cost of converting the entire network would have been prohibitive for the BBC so the system died out and everyone forgot about it..

Until now! Wow! Do you have any Quadrophonic analogue radio stations in NZ now? Is/was your quad network restricted to one small part of the country or did the equipment go on sale with no source to feed it? Fascinating gear you have there. :thumbsup:

Some of the old stuff we took for granted back then, now we've realized how much were put into some of these electronics then.

Nice Pioneer NZ.
