Hey all. Got the job monday!
auto detailing!
Working for Swope Family of Dealerships in KY, biggest name!

Startoff pay is $8 an hour, full benefits, 401k,and free auto detailing for your cars.

Also, I get to work with cars that haven't been seen in public for years!

here are pics

They have 2 warehouses in the back where the overflow from the museums sit! most of these cars are unrestored and are as they were received when new! the owner just kept them.
Pretty darn cool! and these aren't open to the public!

The place is very relaxed, and it's 9-6 5 days a week! 1 hour lunch break, and it's 8 miles from home.
So far they said I am doing excellent!

My trainer is making $11 an hour,so there is hope for promotion!

gonna bring one of my boomers in to replace this emerson

I'll keep my camera handy for more!

It's a shame these cars aren't drivn though
And they are kept out of the public :'-(

these things need to be shown.
When we clean them, we have to be veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery careful as anything that is plastic (not much in these old tanks lol) is very brittle.

I personally don't want to touch them due to that fact, but when you wax them, the metal is way thicker than the new ones, they ride smoot, and the doors, I love the noise they make! when you shut them, they are shut and let you know it, also, they have a smell that is better than any new car
