That bike is hot, but that chick is hotter!! Very nice.

I've always thought that the 250 is perfect everyday riding. I have no desire to go faster than 80 on a motorcycle.

Yeah it's alright for now..I got bored with the bike stock so i modified it a little:
Puig red screen
Seat cowl (rubber pad has been retrimmed with seat material)
Tank protector
A-Tech Style tyre hugger
Red rim tape
Custom fender eliminator
smaller sprocket for faster acceleration
Paint job
Yeah the adrenalin rush is unreal..I got bored with cars ( I owned a Mazda RX3 with a 13b bridgeport turbo and a stock rx2 capella, plus ive owned a nissan silvia s15 and 05 wrx.) All fun but nothing compared to the freedom a bike gives you! It's just the risk of all the dumb and ignorant drivers who have no care in the world for someone on a bike. that's the scariest thing about riding.. if your in an accident and it's not your fault,no matter what you will always come out a loser

Cool bike, even the 250 is a cool ride. Besides doesn't that kind of make your bike famous now?

What needs to be said about the model.

Nice camera work and a cool little bike.Be careful with the R1,especially the earlier ones, they are savage.I've been riding for 26 years,my last few bikes were ZX12r , CBR11r , ZX9r , TL1000r , GSXR750.Had a bad accident in August, nearly lost my leg, died while in hospital,in a coma for a while now in a wheelchair thanks to an A*&%$+e using his mobile phone while driving.Really sorry if i'm hijacking your thread but i wouldnt want anyone else to end up like this.Scares me to death now,

Don't apologise,it's unnecessary ;-)
Woah, everytime I hear of stories like this I vow to myself that i'm going to sell my bike.. Someone else can put the nails in your coffin and that's the part that sucks. Your life is in some other dumb pricks hands. Sorry to hear mate! I'm speechless.
You have honestly made me think twice about jumping on the bike today after looking at those pictures :grim:
Are you paralysed or will you be able to walk again(you don't have to answer if it's too personal and sorry if it's insensitive..)
I hope the prick who hit you goes to jail!

Its not insensitive buddy,i'm sorry if its made you feel bad, that wasn't my intention. But after all the years of my riding its made me very aware of my own mortality.I took my sons bike off him and bought him a car "just in case"..Its like you said, its not us riders its everyone else.Just be safe.I should walk again,in around another year or so,so im one of the lucky ones, but i hate to say that i'll never ride again.I'm just too shaken. The scarey thing is i've never been hurt in all the track days or high speed time trials i've done, this happened on a 20 minute slow ride round on a sunny afternoon

:-O :-O I'm almost speechless, that looks painful. Glad you pulled through and your still here, I sure hope you fully recover.
I don't ride often anymore because there is just so much traffic in my area that I'm fairly uncomfortable with all of the careless drivers racing around. If I lived far enough outside of a big city I might feel different but I still can't give up riding completely.

2 types of riders..... those that have and those that will wreck! Auto drivers have no respect for motorcyclists! :nonono: Thanks to God you are still around Andy!

I tend to agree, I've been under the front bumper of a young teeny bopper who blew right out of a parking lot in front of me. Of course she ignored the stop sign and didn't see me until it was to late, it happened so quick all I could do was lay the bike down and slide under her front bumper. Thankfully I was only going about 30 miles an hour when it happened and I didn't get hurt but the bike did.

Well that's a relief.. atleast you will be able to walk again..
Good idea to take the bike off your son! When I have a son or daughter,I would never put them on a bike. I know it's hypocritical but your family is the most important thing in this world! Plus if anything ever happened you'd never be able to forgive yourself for not doing something when you had the chance.
Chin up buddy things are on the way to recovery,be strong and don't give up!
I was passenger in a bad car accident (not my fault) and had to go through muscle rehab and the works.. I am lucky to be alive..A semi trailer went straight into side I was on and just missed my head(hit the tail of the car) and sent us into a spin which landed us head on with another car.. nasty accident.. Someone didn't want me to die yet..

very cool. i like you bike for sure. the girl is indeed very pretty!!!

i do believe if one rides responsibly and below certain speeds, security is good.

one over some speed and at some roads it gets dangerous.

pro guys wreck at very high speeds on courses and they dont get hut very often.

of course, saftety equipment too, etc.

i dont have or ever had a bike, but if i do, id get a 90s ninja, green or yellow or white. 92' kawasaki

that or a chopper like in easy rider with a long fork ... and a wwii helmet !!!

do it.

This past summer I was cruising in my s10 and a guy on a bike was next to me and had his helmet half cocked on his head and a cell phone in one hand talking. I was flagging him down and he just sped up ahead of me :dunce: WTF How can he shift gears, Brake, steer, and talk at the same time??? I hope he has learned his lesson :hmmm:
