i really want to know where these units come from! I collect vintage home audio stuff and the things i find that are mint is due to someone keeping it in the same cabinet or shelf for 30 years.
These are meant to be portable. Its 100% amazing to me. great score

thanks !! yes it looks amazing !! and sound to match
the 2 dots are discs to hide small holes the owner had to do in order to repair the eject mechanism
I don't mind really, bbox is so big that it doesn't catch all attention!!
belts are new, bbox has been cleaned inside and outside, it looks great to me
can't wait to receive it, that should be next week
I'll post my own pics of it

On a scale of 1-1,000,000 this design is at the very very top!

I have realized there are too many radio's to say "This one is the best". But that there is in fact a "Best Section" filled with radio's and this one is in that section!

I could stare at that design all day :drool: :drool: :drool:

Good thing is owner has completely and very carefully cleaned it, inside, outside, repaired everything, changed belt etc... He assures me that bbox is working like new, like it is out of the factory, that's why he asked a very high price for it
He also promises the best packaging ever so that it reaches me undamaged
I know this baby is big, but I think when I receive it I still will be surprised at how big it really is !!!
It also will be nice to compare the sound to my JVC M 70 (when I get it back from UK thanks John.....)
I'm really excited and YES that gut thing, to wait, to be anxious, to check the postman, to receive packet finally!!!! I am soooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like a child lol It's like a dream is going to come true

Nice score. One thing though be careful with the pots. I cleaned the one my wife found locally for me and man those potentiometers are cheeeeeeeeeeap. I've about destroyed mine just trying to get the scratch out of the volume knob.
