Hi All
Two things please.
1 How, what and where to lube this unit for tapes, cd, motors, slide rails etc.
How to get at, what lubrication to use.
2 Mod for aux input, can a 3.5mm female plug be put in to the round recess beside the aux out RCA plugs. Is there enough room? What guage wire should be used ( I was thinking 22 guage). How much has to be taken apart to drill hole etc...

Hold the lube? I think if you disconnect the supply to the CD player you can back feed through the RCA jacks.

Thanks, but my CD player irks perfect and I have lots of CD's, so I want to keep things turning. Have lots of tapes too, but less inclined. But I have lots of digital mo3 files so the need to mod the unit.

You could use a toggle switch to disconnect / connect the dc supply to the CD when required.
