I can feel the power also because I never went over 1/3 of the volume and that itself was pretty powerful.

More like 4.5 watts RMS per channel which is still very respectable considering a Sanyo M9990 only puts out 3.5 watts RMS per channel.
See those heat sinks Jimmy! That is another proof!
I checked the wattage on speakers and found none!

9V box with a modest 16Watt power draw does not equal big RMS power!!

If it really does push 9 watts RMS per channel, than it must flog the 15V JVC M70 that only has 7 watts RMS per channel!

But hey, the 466 is a cool box, even Springsteen had one! :-)

Would have cost a packet in '75 for sure.
