Wow, he really does have some similarities to me...BUT my hait is not curly and normally I am not thinking by the sea but listening to a boombox and normally no local "midgets", as Ira calls them, in sight

@Fatdog: I would never ever drive Herbie on a beach, he could get stuck And the salt water would eventuall let his floor get holes again

Actually my beetle had the floor pretty rusty too and needed to be fixed for big $$$ I sacrificed not only a gf777, a cfs88 and other boomboxes back then...also had to sell some very rare vinyls from my collection. Luckily it was all worth it

And it is pretty funny that I look like one of your grand childs I think...funny coincidence. Now go and get him into collecting boomboxes
How old is he by the way? He looks pretty old but you refer to him as young copy of me

Actually, there are quite a few Herbies around in FL but mostly around WDW but chances are not too bad you might spot one some day

He is TWELVE? He seriously does look way older Now go and make him da Gangsta from da hood and give him some huge boombox
And good luck straightening his hair...even mine likes to act up after driving herbie with his ragtop open

yup --agree - he looks alot older --acts like nine , though

the hair treatments are sort of severe -
and almost permanent -

even i had it done --ONCE--
about 4 decades ago --it was considered very cool... back then
